Privacy policy

Your library lives on your phone.

RiderLens turns short riding clips into pose-analyzed records. The short version: your library stays on your device, clips are uploaded only to be processed, and we don't sell anything about you.

Effective July 14, 2026

What we collect and where it lives

Your videos and records (clips, pose overlays, tags, timestamps) are stored locally on your device. There are no accounts and no cloud library in the current version.

Your rider profile (optional: name, photo, body measurements, units) is stored only on your device.

Processing uploads: when a record is created, the selected clip is uploaded to our processing server to generate the trimmed clip, pose overlay, and metrics. Uploads are kept temporarily for processing and retry, then expire and are deleted. We do not build a copy of your library on our servers.

Crash reporting

The app and our processing server use Sentry to collect crash and error reports so we can fix problems. A report contains technical details (what failed, stack trace, device model, OS version, app version). Reports never include your videos, images, name, or profile data, and we configure Sentry not to collect IP-based identity. Crash data is retained by Sentry for a limited period and used only for debugging.

What we don't do

No sale or sharing of your data with advertisers. No access to your photo library beyond the clips you explicitly pick. No tracking across other apps or websites.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play together with RevenueCat, which manages subscription status so the app can unlock Pro features. We never receive your payment card details.

Sharing

When you share a clip from RiderLens, you decide where it goes. Shared clips may carry a RiderLens watermark and a link to this site.

Deleting your data

Deleting a record in the app deletes its files from your device, including the copied source video. Deleting the app removes everything. Server-side processing uploads expire automatically. See delete your data.

Analytics

Future versions may collect anonymous usage events (for example, "a record was created") to improve the app. If added, this section will be updated before release.

Children

RiderLens is not directed at children under 13.
